Uri Dotan and Avraham Pesso exhibition has enjoyed tremendous interest from the art world, the media, buyers and dealers. Reviews have been unanimously positive. Based on this welcoming response, we’ve realised that a number of people who wish to see the exhibition have not yet had the opportunity to do so. Because of this, we have chosen to offer an extended opportunity to view this great exhibition. The exhibition will be extended until the end of November. |

James Unsworth will show his newest drawings at the Vegas Gallery in London.
Influenced by Daniel Johnston, James' work presents a grotesque and precisely detailed picture of a dark world all of us have visited but are scared to dwell upon let alone talk about, in order to preserve our own sanity. Many of his works are centred on a sexually obsessive honesty that captivates the viewer in its brazen delivery.

James Unsworth will participate in a group exhibition "The Future Can Wait" at the Atlantis Gallery in London, between October 10, 2007 to October 14, 2007.
The biggest ever museum-scale privately curated exhibition for breaking artists. Curators Zavier Ellis and Simon Rumley have now announced the full list of artists set to exhibit in the Old Truman Brewery’s Atlantis Gallery, in what promises to be a seminal show in the future of art history. Ellis and Rumley have selected the best of what they describe as The New London School – artists whose work deals with the human condition in painting, video and installation, underpinned by an emphasis on technical expertise.
Featuring the art stars of the moment, The Future Can Wait will be bigger than anything of its kind that has gone before. It will also offer a contrast to the more limited viewing context of the art fair booth system by showing a wealth of work as it was originally intended – in a spectacular, spacious environment. Featuring these London-based artists for its inaugural year, The Future Can Wait will eventually take on global partners to become a primary showcase for international artists.

This publication documents the programme Arrivals > Art from the New Europe, a series of 10 exhibitions being shown over two years at Modern Art Oxford : and Turner Contemporary , Margate and introducing the work of artists from the expanded European Union. In addition it invites specific questions around what does it mean, if anything, for artists, curators and cultural agents to be part of 'an expanded Europe'.

"Prologue: Quoting Absence" is the first part of a new three-part work by Christodoulos Panayiotou based on the structure of the academic dissertation. Four speakers with connections to Oxford University were invited to have a conversation on the theme of absence. This newly commissioned discussion features the astrophysicist Pedro G. Ferreira, the lecturer in late antique history Caroline Humfress, philosopher Dorothea Debus, and the artist and musician Jem Finer. The book exists in the form of a transcript of the recorded conversation, which took place on 4 July 2006 at 24/7 Recording and Rehearsal Studios and which is exhibited as a four-channel sound installation at Modern Art Oxford. This publication is part of the "Arrivals" series of exhibitions featuring artists from the new EU countries.
